I spent the last few days at home in the Napa Valley, where it was grey and foggy nearly the whole time. It’s still pretty; it just makes me want to stay inside, curled up on the couch under a blanket (preferably near a fire), eating a pomegranate and cuddling my kitty.
Baxter, the aforementioned kitty, had other plans for sleeping places other than laps.
After we finally put his rather rotund body outside for the first time since the previous day, he immediately went back to reclining, this time atop the raisin dehydrator. (I thought I had a pic of this but apparently not haha but raisin dehydrators aren’t that exciting to look upon anyway)
I returned to Berkeley last night, driving straight into what appeared to be a solid dark grey wall of clouds. But when I awoke this morning and opened the blinds… oh, lovely Berkeley! You can be lovely sometimes.
